In my job, I serve customers, both internal and external. It brings me joy and a sense of achievement when a customer says they stay because of the service that I provide. My company walks the talk. That’s what I love about it.
- What are some things a mentee should know about you? I am a mother of three amazing children and a wife to Vance Newby. My insurance career spans 26 years. Much of my career has been in Claims and Client Services but I have also worked in risk management and a small stint in underwriting. I would consider myself to be relatively soft spoken; however, I try to have meaningful and constructive things to say when I do speak. I am typically slow to speak and quick to listen. I am intentional about humility, kindness and faith. I consider it an honor to pay my knowledge forward. I enjoy seeing my children do what makes them happy.
