The Brantley Center is working with student athletes at Appalachian State University and exposing them to the insurance industry and its career opportunities. Dr. David Marlett, the Managing Director of the Brantley Center and Mike Mitchell of Risk Placement Services discussed careers in insurance and how the industry ties into athletics. They spoke to student athletes over a Zoom call and presentation.
The Brantley Center strives to better serve these student athletes who have significant outside commitments and are often from underrepresented backgrounds.
