Five Appalachian State University (AppState) students majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance, along with Professor Dr. Lori Medders, participated in the 2018 WSIA Extreme Risk Takers Symposium in Chicago on March 23-25. While at the event the students attended the Career Fair, networked with industry professionals and students from across the country, and attended educational sessions around the Excess & Surplus portion of the insurance industry.
