Dr. Marlett, Director of the Brantley Risk and Insurance Center, was featured in Best’s Review Magazine’s February Edition, which focused on campus conversations about educating students to reengage and regain momentum in their academic pursuits. In the classroom, Marlett focuses on relevance in his teaching. He emphasizes the practical implications of insurance and risk management, connecting classroom discussions to real-world events and societal challenges. By addressing contemporary issues such as the pandemic, AI and climate change, the RMI program at AppState equips students with the resilience and adaptability needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
