2018 Risk Manager-in-Residence is Mark DeLillo

Mark DeLillo, Vice President of Risk Management with Taylor Morrison, was the 2018 Risk Manager-in-Residence at Appalachian State University March 19-20. During his time in Boone he addressed a standing-room-only crowd of Gamma Iota Sigma students and spoke on emerging risks within the industry and career opportunities. DeLillo also taught classes on Enterprise Risk & Insurance Management along with the Principles of Risk Management and Insurance classes, Insurance Operations and Commercial Insurance during his three days in Boone.

"Over the past years our AppState RMI program has benefitted greatly from the wisdom of several top-tier Risk Managers and Mark DeLillo did not disappoint!," said Dr. Karen Epermanis, professor of Risk Management and Insurance and RMI & Employee Benefits program director. "His in-depth knowledge of the Risk Management field and the ease in which he was able to relate well to our students provided for a fascinating learning experience.  Our thanks once again go to the Spencer Education Foundation for their generous grant which funds this program and makes these exceptnal learning opportunities possible."
