Student Veteran Services is dedicated to helping military-affiliated students thrive. These resources support individuals in the transition from service to education, through graduation, and to ultimately enter the workforce. 



Office of Disability Resources

The Office of Disability Resources (ODR) is the designated office to support students, faculty, and staff with disabilities by determining access needs and coordinating  academic adjustments or workplace accommodations.

Intercultural Student Affairs

The Intercultural Student Affairs office provides numerous opportunities for all Appalachian students to develop an appreciation for different perspectives, enhance self-awareness, and strengthen intercultural competency.



Workshop on Difficult Conversations 

This workshop is a part of the Sustained Dialogue Institute program. It  prepares AppState community members to engage in dialoge across difference, ranging from race, gender identity, religion, and politics. 



Wellness and Prevention Services

This organization provides campus-wide health advocacy to facilitate holistic student success. Services encompass eight different dimensions of student health including financial, emotional, and social well-being.

Henderson Springs LGBT Center

The Henderson Springs Center site is home to resources, trainings, and campus organizations that are designed to empower, educate, and affirm people who identify as LGBTQIA+, their allies, and their advocates at AppState. 



Appalachian State Women's Center

This student-centered organization shares resources and coordinates programs and events that promote social, economic, and political equity, eliminate gender discrimination, and empower all female-identifying individuals.



WCOB Professional Attire Support

The Walker College of Business welcomes you to apply for professional attire support. This is intended to support low-income students in obtaining professional dress to wear to attend career fairs, interviews, and networking events.
