The $1000 Future Leaders Scholarship is available for selected sophomores and juniors with an interest in exploring the risk management and insurance and/or employee benefits industries. Students must have 54 earned hours to enroll and at least a 3.0 GPA (or demonstrated academic growth). Additional consideration is given to students from underrepresented backgrounds (i.e. students of color, learning or physical differences, LGBTQIA+, female, First Generation, or others). Selected students will enroll in either FIN 3100, Principles of Risk Management and Insurance, or FIN 3700, Employee Benefits during the semester and make a B or better to earn the scholarship. Students may also choose to enroll in both courses, earning a maximum of $2,000 in scholarship funding.
